Which world leader poses a danger to world peace?

November 4th, 2006 · 2 Comments

These are the results of a survey recently conducted in Britain, and I must say that they are really not surprising (to me, at least) at all….

According to the report:

Carried out as US voters prepare to go to the polls next week in an election dominated by the war, the research also shows that British voters see George Bush as a greater danger to world peace than either the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-il, or the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Both countries were once cited by the US president as part of an “axis of evil”, but it is Mr Bush who now alarms voters in countries with traditionally strong links to the US.

Its not actually a big secret that we have a monkey in the White House.

bangku, im just about to say the same thing…

anyway, in order for the world to achieve peace, collectively, my hypothesis will be, it could happen if developed country could follow the step taken by ASEAN group country. While the original objective of ASEAN is to create peace and stability, regionally, ASEAN have some how prove that till now, peace could be achieve. with the existence of stability, the world is one step closer towards the peace achievement.

whether the top three (as in the photo) will possess such capability and capacity to threaten world peace, will some how require one’s to analyze what kind of threat could be created by them. out of two, one is a non-state actor and even does not belong to any state. the world understand him through media lenses and through others ‘bad’ experiences. the type of threat is unclear but the motive could always be predicted.

the next two, one is well known for its craziness in dealing with world politics especially issues that involve the state interest and provided that he get enough guidance from his high ranking government servant or else he will end up digging the Texas soil, alone, looking for its own oil to sell.

the other one, having a very busy neighbor, diligently working 24-7 to generate wealth, are bored due to unknown reason. can’t get involve in any world issues or conflicts, therefore create its own spot light and point it directly to itself. it is presumed that any threatening action taken by this figure will not possess a great threat to the world peace and will eventually bring them to nothing.

therefore, i would say that the middle figure could possess a great threat to the world peace, as long as it hold the hegemonic power title unless the fourth figure walks in and take charge, rearranging the world system.

p/s:world peace does exist but where is it???hmmm…
